Chloe forgot her favourite DVDs and music on Thursday, so she brought those items and also her special extra item on Friday to share with the class. Chloe had a few DVDs she likes, which were 'Glee' and 'The Addams Family'. Chloe gave us a rundown of what Glee is all about and told us why she likes it.
Chloe said she couldn't think of what to bring in for her extra item, but ended up deciding on some of her jewellery and earrings. She said she likes wearing them when she's not at school and has had these pieces for a couple of years. Chloe spoke brilliantly all week presenting her Star of the Week items. Well done! On Wednesday Chloe brought in her favourite book, which was Diary of a Wimpy Kid - The Third Wheel. She said she has read most of the books in the series (seven or eight in total) and she has enjoyed this one the most simply because she is currently reading it and has forgotten what happened in some of the other books as it's been a year or so since she completed those. Chloe read the blurb to the class and answered questions well, demonstrating to us her excellent public speaking voice. Due to the curriculum day on Monday, Chloe also shared with the class her favourite hobby item on Tuesday. Chloe has developed a bit of an 'obsession' with shopping and shoes - in particular, high heels. Chloe brought in two pairs to show the class and she said she can't wait to buy some more as she gets older! A lot of the class (including the boys!) said they had tried on high heels in the past! Chloe is our first Star for Term 2! She kicked off her week with her photos. Chloe brought in about thirty photos of her childhood and the things she got up to while she was growing up. She even went further back and had a photo of her mum when she was in her mum's tummy! Chloe spoke extremely well about her photos, telling the class all about her experiences as a kid so far. From playing with her brother and sister to a trip to the snow, and also all the presents she got for her first birthday - it was great to hear all about it!
