Next up on Tuesday, Hana brought in two toys as her favourite items - a soft toy bunny named Susie and a soft toy cat named Kitty. She said she's had them right throughout her life and she has never had a night where they haven't been asleep on her bed with her. Kitty is a little worse for wear now because Hana has had her for so long, and Susie is also a puppet so Hana demonstrated some quick puppetry moves for us as well!
On Monday, Hana shared with the class a huge selection of photos from her trips around the world. Hana has been lucky enough to visit a whole range of different countries, and told us stories about being in Japan during the World Cup (and that the Japanese thought she was a 'good luck' charm!), the sumo wrestling, camping trips and other fun experiences. She thought Queensland was probably her favourite place and enjoyed seeing a turtle laying its eggs as well as trips to the beach. Hana has outstanding speaking skills and the class was really engaged in her stories.
